About Mara

Meet Mara, a charming buff and white cat with a gentle heart and a sweet disposition. Though she may initially be shy in new surroundings, patience and kindness quickly bring out her affectionate nature. Once settled, Mara loves lounging in sunny spots and relishing the comfort of a safe home. Having spent three months in foster care, she has flourished around people. During this time, she co-parented a litter of five kittens, showcasing her nurturing side. Coming from a background with over 40 cats, having feline friends around feels completely normal for her. Mara has a special bond with her friend, Keera, and they would love to be adopted together. If that’s not possible, she’ll definitely need another friendly cat in her new home for security and companionship. Mara hasn’t been around young children, so she’d thrive in a quieter environment with older kids or adults who can appreciate her need for a gentle touch. Despite her challenging past in a hoarding situation, she remains trusting and sweet. Now, she’s looking for a family who will cherish her for the loving cat she is. Could you be the one to give Mara the peaceful, loving home she’s been waiting for? Click apply to start the adoption process.
