About Mya

Meet Mya! Mya is a sweet girl who recently joined us after being rescued from a puppy mill. She's starting to discover what it means to live in a loving home and be part of a family. As a survivor, Mya can be a bit shy and unsure, especially in unfamiliar settings, but she is learning to embrace the world around her. Gentle voices and predictable routines are helping her feel safe and secure. While Mya is crate trained, she isn't house trained yet. She will need a patient family willing to help her grow into this new skill with consistency and encouragement. In her previous environment, Mya lived with children and got along well with other dogs; with the right introductions, she would likely be fine with cats too. Every day is a step forward for Mya as she adjusts to her new life. Even simple moments, like finding comfort in new surroundings or showing curiosity, are big victories for her. Mya longs for a calm, understanding home where she can build her confidence at her own pace. In return, she has the potential to become a loyal and loving companion who shines with time. If you're ready to help a dog uncover the joys of safety and love, Mya could be the perfect fit for you. She's available for foster to adopt within 30 minutes of our shelter while we complete her medical needs. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
