Salem is a sweet and slightly shy dog who's just finding her footing in the shelter. She's a charming Shepherd mix with a golden coat and a short length, making her a lovely companion. Salem arrived with another female dog, and while she’s still getting acclimated, we anticipate learning more about her personality soon. She is not yet spayed but is eligible for our foster-to-adopt program, allowing you to take her home and care for her until the spay is complete. This program is available to those in and around Nevada County. Adoption fees are set at $125, which includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
