About Cheddar
Meet Cheddar at the mobile adoption event on Saturday, June 20th, at Pet Food Express in Alameda from 12-3pm, unless she finds her forever home beforehand. With a charming mix of Chihuahua in her small frame, Cheddar may initially be shy around new people and dogs. However, as she meets more friendly folks, she blossoms into a warm and playful little companion. Cheddar adores snuggling, especially under a cozy blanket, and she's very food motivated. She's currently working on her house training. While she typically pees outside if taken out regularly, her bowel habits sometimes vary. With consistent oversight and tasty rewards for outdoor potty breaks, she’s making steady improvements. Due to her petite size, Cheddar might not be the best fit for families with young kids unless they are exceptionally gentle. Additionally, her bark can be loud when she gets overly excited, so apartment living might prove challenging unless your neighbors are understanding. Cheddar has a heart murmur related to a small hole in her heart, but she’s been diagnosed to live a normal life. There’s even a chance it may resolve itself as she grows. Cheddar is spayed and fully vaccinated, waiting for the right home to call her own. Ready to make her yours? Click apply to start the adoption process.
