Pepper is a 5-year-old female Australian Shepherd, with long tricolor (brown, black, and white) fur. Although she has not yet fully mastered house training, she was able to free roam her previous home. Pepper is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. Residing in Mishawaka, IN, she is a small dog ready for a loving family.

Pepper is a bright and playful companion who came to the shelter through no fault of her own. Her previous family loved her dearly, but circumstances forced them to part ways. Almost completely potty trained, Pepper did well in her previous home. Just keep trash cans out of reach to minimize temptations. As a herding breed, she needs an active owner who can provide both physical exercise and mental stimulation. Her favorite activity? Playing with waffle balls! Pepper tends to bond more quickly with women and may need a bit of time to warm up to men. Once you earn her trust, she will be a faithful friend.
