About Pepper

Pepper is a bright and playful companion who came to the shelter through no fault of her own. Her previous family loved her dearly, but circumstances forced them to part ways. Now, Pepper is adjusting to her new life and revealing just how wonderful she can be. This sweet girl has lived harmoniously with children, dogs, and cats, but she prefers a home with older kids and no dogs to keep things peaceful, especially during meal times. She loves to snuggle, chase balls, and be part of family activities. Speaking of food, Pepper is an enthusiastic eater who doesn't like to share, so careful management during meals is essential. Almost completely potty trained, Pepper did well in her previous home. Just keep trash cans out of reach to minimize temptations. As a herding breed, she needs an active owner who can provide both physical exercise and mental stimulation. Her favorite activity? Playing with waffle balls! Pepper tends to bond more quickly with women and may need a bit of time to warm up to men. Once you earn her trust, she will be a faithful friend. If you're looking for a smart, affectionate dog who loves adventure and cuddles, Pepper is ready to be your new best friend!
