About Tuco

Meet Tuco. Tuco is a 5-year-old miniature Dachshund who is ready to start a new chapter in his life. After spending years as a breeding male, he’s looking for a home where he can finally experience the joys of being a cherished companion. Though Tuco has limited experiences, he is a sweet and gentle boy longing for affection. He’s still learning what it means to accept love and attention, having missed the comforts of a home environment and the simple pleasure of lounging on a couch. Tuco has tested positive for heartworms and has very few teeth left, but these challenges don’t define his character. He continues to shine with a kind and loving personality, deserving the care and companionship he’s been denied for so long. Tuco needs a patient and understanding adopter who can help him adjust to this new life. Ideally, his new home would be without small children, not due to aggression, but to ensure a smoother transition for him, as he has never been around kids. For years, Tuco has given everything expected of him. Now, he’s eager to receive the love, comfort, and security he truly deserves. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
