About Oppie
Oppie is a two-year-old neutered male cat currently in the care of Black Cat Rescue in Somerville, MA. He has a beautiful buff and white coat and is up to date on vaccinations. This cuddly fellow can be a bit reserved at first, but once he feels comfortable, he seeks out affection and adores being petted on his head and back. He loves curling up with his people for snuggles at bedtime and enjoys sleeping right beside you. Though he doesn’t like being held or having his belly or face touched, he does enjoy playing with his wand toys and a 3-way tunnel. Oppie is friendly with other cats and has lived happily with one previously. He may be somewhat shy around new people but warms up quickly for pets. If you’re looking for a sweet, snuggly companion who will bring joy to your evenings, Oppie might be the perfect fit. Before adopting, please note that he has some special care needs for his eye medication, which is administered when he’s relaxed. This makes him a better match for an experienced owner.
