About Marigold

Meet Marigold! This enthusiastic and cuddly young dog weighs around 50 lbs and is known for her beautiful golden eyes. Marigold is playful and friendly, making her a joy to be around. She is house trained and walks well on a leash, although her excitement can sometimes get the better of her. Marigold has likely had a couple of litters of puppies before joining us through our transport program. Unfortunately, she tested positive for heartworm disease, a common issue for dogs from warmer climates, but the good news is that it's treatable and not contagious. After receiving treatment, itโ€™s important for her new family to restrict her exercise during her recovery in August. If you can provide a loving home for this special girl, we encourage you to meet her! Marigold is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. Come visit and see if she's the right fit for you. Your new best friend is just one click away.
