About Pound Cake Arriving

Pound Cake is a cheerful companion who brings joy wherever he goes. Surrendered by his previous owner, his goofy smile reflects his affectionate nature. He thrives on human companionship and prefers to be close to his people. While he enjoys playtime, his tendency to jump and play-bite means he would do best in an adult-only home. Though settling into a kennel has posed some challenges, his fosters have implemented a relaxation regimen that’s helping him adapt. This sweet, lap-loving guy is currently working on potty training and will benefit from a patient hand to guide him. Pound Cake loves a good movie night and will curl up next to you with ease. His favorite part of the day? Welcoming his people home after a long day. Originally hailing from Texas, Pound Cake will arrive in Minnesota on June 27, 2026. He’ll need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN. Available exclusively through the Foster to Adopt Program, he may require additional veterinary care upon arrival. Make sure you’re ready to meet this lovable couch potato and help him settle into his new home! What are you waiting for? Apply today!
