About Sienna

Sienna is a striking young Terrier mix, sporting beautiful red fur. She recently arrived at Fort Defiance Humane Society as a stray, and her past is a bit of a mystery since her previous family never reclaimed her. Adjusting to shelter life has been an experience for her; Sienna is taking her time to settle in. She didn’t receive much socialization previously, so new people can be a little intimidating. However, with a gentle voice and calm approach, along with the occasional treat, she starts to open up and trust her surroundings more. While she walks well on a leash, Sienna may need some encouragement at the beginning. The shelter environment is still quite new for her, and though she seems unsure around other dogs, there’s potential for her to grow more comfortable in time. Sienna is in that transitional phase where everything is fresh and a bit daunting, but there’s a lovely spirit within her just waiting to shine. With patience and love, this pretty girl is bound to blossom into a wonderful companion. Could you be the one to help her flourish?
