About Smitty
Smitty is a one-year-old, 12-pound Rat Terrier mix with a full heart waiting for love. This little guy thrives on human affection and clearly didn’t get the attention he deserves in his past life. He craves being held, petted, and talked to, and he’s eager to be a loyal companion. Getting along splendidly with other dogs and peacefully ignoring cats, Smitty demonstrates his easy-going nature. He’s quite the quiet boy, rarely barking, and he sleeps soundly in his crate. When he's not snuggling up or being entertained, Smitty loves playing with his toys. He’s making good progress with house training and leash walking as he adapts to life as a cherished family member. Keep in mind that Smitty is a curious little fellow who enjoys exploring, so it’s wise to watch those doors! He’s looking for a home that will shower him with love, provide strong leadership, proper nutrition, and regular vet care. In return, he will offer unwavering loyalty, companionship, and endless affection. Could you be the one to give Smitty the forever home he’s been waiting for? Adoption fee is $500. This caring rescue ensures all pets are spayed/neutered, heartworm checked, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.
