Tater is a sweet 3-month-old Heeler mix who was rescued from the middle of the highway—a true survivor with a bit of a spicy personality. Currently in foster care near Moline, IL/Davenport, IA, she's learning what love means and how to be part of a family. This little potato enjoys playing with her canine friends and her kitten companions. She’s smart and currently mastering her commands like "come," "sit," "down," and "stay" through positive reinforcement. While she may initially seem shy and is a little nervous around loud noises, Tater is steadily gaining confidence thanks to the love and patience of her foster family. She gets along great with dogs, cats, and children, making her an ideal companion for a family. Tater is crate trained and working on her potty-training routine. Although leash training is still a work in progress, her eagerness to learn will surely shine through as she continues to develop. Adoption comes with a spay contract and a $500 fee, with $100 refundable upon proof of spay. Tater is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been microchipped.
