About Spirit Arriving D
Spirit Arriving D is a gentle soul who knows what it means to struggle. Found as a stray with her puppies, she's ready for a fresh start. Though her past has made her cautious around new people, a little patience goes a long way. Once she trusts you, her sweet, playful nature emerges, revealing the affectionate companion she truly is. This small, 2-year-old female Chihuahua prefers tranquil moments, whether lounging or engaging in independent play. While another calm dog could help boost her confidence, it's not a strict requirement. Plus, she gets along beautifully with cats and adores children! Fully potty trained, Spirit finds comfort in her kennel, treating it as her sanctuary. She is learning leash manners and basic obedience skills, making steady progress in her new routine. With time and a loving home, she will undoubtedly become a cherished member of your family. Spirit is based in Texas and will arrive in Minnesota on June 27, 2026. You can pick her up at the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton between 9 AM and noon. She is currently part of the Foster to Adopt Program, and her journey to a forever home can begin as soon as she's settled. Let the adventure start here!
