Meet Roxie! This charming girl has a joyful spirit that lights up the room. When she greets you, she dances with delight, even if she's a bit shy about being touched. If she's nestled in her bed, you can shower her with pets and scratches all day long, and she's recently discovered the joy of belly rubs. Roxie once lived in a puppy mill, but now she's ready to embrace the good life in a caring home. At around 4-6 years old and weighing about 11 lbs, she’s learning to enjoy her freedom. Basic training is underway, and while she tolerates a crate, she'd prefer to stay close to you at bedtime. She thrives around other dogs and is cheerful around kids too. Since freedom is new for her, a fenced yard or leash is important, as she might take off on an adventure. Roxie will become part of your family fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. If you’re smitten by her cuteness, please complete an application to adopt her. An adoption fee of $600 applies, and she is currently being fostered in Lindenhurst, IL.
