About Bowie
Bowie is simply the best. This friendly 14-year-old Beagle found himself at an animal shelter after his elderly owner could no longer care for him and moved into a nursing home due to dementia. Helping pets like Bowie is central to Tyson's Place Animal Rescue's mission. When we learned he was at a shelter, we knew we had to step in. Bowie is now in a loving foster home where he shows just how wonderful a companion he is. He successfully lives with other small dogs and eagerly tries to engage them in play. Great with kids, he recently met his first cat without any issues. Bowie is housebroken, walks nicely on a leash, and loves being around people. Since his previous owner was home often, Bowie thrives on companionship and would be perfect for a retired person or anyone who works from home. Bowie is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, having received comprehensive veterinary care, including bloodwork, a chest X-ray, and dental cleaning. He does require two daily medications, and Tyson's Place will help cover those costs for the first six months post-adoption. If you’re ready to give this wonderful senior boy a home, please reach out to Tyson's Place Animal Rescue to apply.
