About Nova
Nova is a spirited pit bull puppy with a heartwarming backstory. Her journey began when a thoughtful student brought her to a local high school in a backpack. After a few months of care from staff, Animal Control stepped in, and that’s when Vegas Pet Rescue Project brought her into their fold. At about 8 months old, Nova has already been spayed, microchipped, and her vaccinations are all current. Handling her energy and intelligence, Nova has made remarkable progress in her foster home. She has learned basic commands like sit, and she’s quickly becoming adept at leash walking and potty training. This clever girl thrives on treats and praise, making training sessions enjoyable. However, she will need a breed-experienced owner who can maintain her training, set boundaries, and provide consistent guidance. Nova loves the company of other dogs, so having a companion for her to play with would be ideal. She’s all about fun—playtime and chase are her favorite activities. If you’re ready to take this sweet girl on her adventure that began in a backpack, apply now!
