About Lila
Meet Lila, a 3-year-old mixed breed weighing 28.3 pounds. While she can be a bit shy initially, Lila opens up to those she trusts and loves deeply. She is incredibly affectionate, enjoying kisses, nuzzling close, and resting her head on your shoulder while softly snoring. Lila tends to bond more easily with women, while men may need some time to earn her trust. Lila enjoys toys and games of fetch, along with a good bone to chew on. She loves to relax on the pillows along the back of the couch. While she's mostly house-trained with a steady routine, she might have some accidents as she gets used to a new home. Though she spends some time in a crate, she prefers to be loose in the home and has been increasingly trusted by her foster to roam free. In her foster home, Lila interacts well with small dogs and cats. She’s a bit shy around new people, so patience is key. Although she hasn't been around children, older kids who are calm and respectful would likely suit her best. Keep in mind that she can get anxious during car rides. If you're searching for a gentle and devoted companion who forms lasting bonds, Lila could be your perfect match. Her minimum adoption fee is $300, plus a $15 rabies registration fee for McLean County residents. Click apply to start the adoption process.
