About Sweeney

Meet Sweeney! If you’ve ever had your heart set on a Golden Retriever but find them a bit too big, Sweeney could be your perfect match. This charming eight-year-old looks like a "mini Golden" and weighs just 25 pounds. Sweeney is a gentle soul who adores snuggling on the couch and enjoys leisurely walks around the neighborhood. She is house-trained, crate-trained, and exceptionally well-behaved. Rescued from a hoarding situation, Sweeney initially faced some health challenges, including eye, ear, and skin infections, along with a severe flea infestation. Thanks to her vet care, she's now thriving, and her coat continues to shine more beautifully each day. She can be a little shy with newcomers, but she warms up quickly and has developed a close bond with her foster mom, following her around the house. Sweeney also gets along wonderfully with other dogs, so a home with a canine sibling would be a great fit for her. Will you be the one to give Sweeney the love and home she deserves?
