About Tequila

Tequila is a lovely young female mix, likely a blend of beagle and pointer, weighing around 35 lbs. She and her sister Rum were found behind a liquor store as pups; their unique names stem from this origin. Both dogs are full grown now and are ready to find their forever homes. Tequila adores children and has been known to sleep by the side of her foster’s kids, showcasing her gentle nature. She gets along well with other dogs and has met dogs of various sizes with no issues. Although she has been introduced to cats, she shows no interest in them, indicating she could adapt well to a home with feline friends. Tequila is both crate trained and house trained. She walks nicely on a leash and enjoys car rides. Though she has a calmer demeanor compared to Rum, Tequila still loves to play, making her adaptable to slightly more relaxed homes. Both dogs are spayed, heartworm negative, and up to date on vaccinations. They’ll receive a clean health bill from a vet before their journey. While they’re currently in Texas, they’re available for adoption in the Central US and East Coast. Ready to add a sweet companion to your life? Apply to adopt Tequila today!
