About Penny

Meet Penny, a delightful terrier mix with a gentle spirit, ready to bring love and joy to your home. At 6 years old and about 35 pounds, she's a sturdy companion who has overcome her tough past and is now embracing a brighter future. Previously chained outside, Penny has learned to thrive in her foster home where she’s almost fully house-trained and walks great on a leash. She's eager to please and picks up new commands quickly. Penny is great with dog-savvy kids aged 8 and up and thrives in a calm environment that allows her to build confidence. Though curious around other dogs, she tends to be a bit cautious, responding more from nerves than aggression. At home, she is affectionate, enjoys cuddly moments, loves kisses, and has just discovered the joy of treats and squeaky toys. Penny is ready to find her forever home where she can be a loyal, loving companion. If you think you can be Penny’s special person, don’t hesitate to apply!
