About Copper

Meet Copper, a spirited Pomeranian who shows that new beginnings can blossom at any age. At an estimated 15 years old, he has had a tough journey, having been rescued from a difficult situation where he and his buddy Buttons were left in dire straits. He arrived severely matted, covered in fleas, and needed extensive dental work. Despite losing most of his teeth, Copper remains undeterred and enjoys his meals of soft food, making sure he never skips a meal. Though Copper is completely blind, he navigates his surroundings with remarkable ease. He has a cheerful spirit that shines through, especially during walks. His skin, previously suffering from matted fur, is healing beautifully, and his true self is emerging as his coat grows back. Copper is not just resilient; he possesses a gentle and affectionate nature, being good with kids, cats, and other dogs. Weighing around 12 pounds, he could use a bit more to ensure his health, but above all, he seeks a loving family—a cozy bed, gentle hands, and maybe a lap for those afternoon naps. He deserves a loving home to cherish him for the rest of his golden years. To give Copper the forever home he craves, please get in touch to request an adoption application. What are you waiting for?
