Maya is a large, 3-year-old spayed female Plott Hound/Pit Bull mix. She has a beautiful brindle and white/cream coat, and is house trained. Currently situated in Bostic, NC, she's known for being friendly towards both kids and other dogs. Although she has a knack for entertaining herself by 'borrowing' items around the house, her loving and gentle nature makes her a delightful addition to any family.

Maya is total heart dog material. This affectionate girl is house trained, crate trained, quiet, and loves to snuggle. With her velvety soft face and ears, she will rub against you like a cat asking for some love. At a good medium energy level, she’s just as happy to nap the day away indoors as she is to play with other dogs outside. Adjusting to new environments takes her about three days, but having furry friends around has boosted her confidence. She now walks through doorways with ease and knows exactly where her kennel is. Just a head's up—Maya has a tendency to “borrow” shoes and other stray items, so keep an eye on your belongings!
