About Lily

Lily's story begins with kindness. Someone touched her when she was just a kitten, preventing her from becoming feral. She showed up at a scrapyard in East Oakland during the summer of 2025, making her presence known as she solicited food from those caring for a feral cat colony. Initially shy, Lily slowly found her confidence and warmth around the feeder, which led to her being taken into a foster home. Now, she’s blossoming into a delightful indoor cat. With her playful spirit, Lily loves to dart around, playfully chase after birds, and cuddle at night. She thrives in calm environments and needs time to adjust to new surroundings and people. While she can be shy initially, she opens up quickly, especially when offered a tasty Churu treat! Lily would do best as the only cat, or with a laid-back companion that can help her gain confidence. She's estimated to be around six to seven months old and does well with gentle children aged 12 and older. If you think you can provide Lily with the nurturing home she needs, don't hesitate to reach out. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
