About Pigpen
Pigpen's journey began on the tough streets of Chicago. A year ago, he was rescued from a life of struggle, weak and undernourished. Since then, he’s transformed in foster care, where he’s healed and grown stronger, all while waiting patiently for a loving home. This charming lap cat has a purr that almost never stops. His favorite pastimes include snuggling up for long naps and following you around for attention. Pigpen gets along well with other cats, dogs, and children, making him a great companion. He is easy to groom and handles nail trims without fuss. While Pigpen does have Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), his litter box habits are reliable. He does require a clean litter box, so daily scooping is necessary, along with a special diet to manage his condition. Despite these challenges, Pigpen's spirit and affection shine bright. He’s ready to find a family who will cherish him and give him the love he deserves. Are you ready to welcome this resilient sweetheart into your heart? Click apply to start the adoption process.
