About Teddy

Meet Teddy! This adorable 3-year-old cream-colored Schnauzer is as charming as his scruffy coat. Teddy is on the lookout for a patient and loving home where he can thrive. He loves being with people, running around in the yard, and curling up under a cozy blanket. Teddy strikes a nice balance between playful and relaxed. Outside, he's a zoomie champion, joyfully racing around. A securely fenced backyard is essential for his adventures, and he would thrive with a larger canine companion to play with and help him burn off all that energy. Inside, Teddy is calm and affectionate, happiest when he's close to his favorite humans. He loves to be involved in whatever you're doing, whether you're watching TV or unwinding after a long day. Teddy is making strides with his leash manners and is mostly potty trained. He will benefit from continued guidance as he settles into his new space. Teddy was surrendered after a bite incident, but our observations show that he's not aggressive. He's just easily startled and can react defensively when frightened. A calm, predictable adult home will be best for him to build confidence and feel secure. Teddy really needs: - A securely fenced backyard - A quiet adult home - A larger dog playmate (preferred) - Patient adopters to continue his training - Plenty of cozy spots to snuggle and spend time with his people If you're seeking a loyal friend who will fill your home with smiles and warmth, Teddy might just be the perfect addition to your family.
