About Axle

Meet Axle! This striking 4-year-old black Labrador Retriever is ready for a new adventure after being surrendered. Neutered and up-to-date on all vaccinations, including rabies and DHPP, Axle is also microchipped and has been professionally evaluated. Axle is bursting with energy and would make an excellent walking or hiking companion, always eager to keep you moving. Despite being four years old, he has the playful spirit of a younger pup. His trainer has been impressed by Axle's intelligence and trainability, having worked with him to refine his skills. Fetch is his absolute favorite pastime; he’ll fetch any time of day, and he’ll always find you to keep the game going! Axle is friendly and sociable, though he may be a bit much for very young kids due to his size and energy. However, he listens well when instructed, making him a better fit for older children who can handle him. Axle gets along well with other dogs, but a meet-and-greet is always the best approach for potential canine roommates. His adoption fee is $475, which covers his neuter, vaccinations, and health tests. If you think you could be Axle's perfect match, please contact Blackstone Valley Animal Control at 508-883-BVAC (2822) or email aco@blackstonepolice.org. Ready to take the next step?
