"Always be yourself... unless you can be Batman, in which case, always be Batman" At approximately 1 year old and 36 pounds, Batman is still a young dog with his whole life ahead of him. While he may not come charging up to strangers looking for attention, that's part of what makes him so special. Batman is a little shy when you first meet him, carefully taking in the world around him and deciding who he can trust. But once you earn that trust? You become his person! The walls come down, and the sweet, loyal dog underneath shines through. Batman forms deep bonds with the people he loves and wants nothing more than to be by their side. He's the kind of companion who reminds you that the best relationships aren't rushed - they're built on patience, trust and love.  With his soulful brown eyes and adorable ears and handsome black coat, Batman has all the makings of a superhero. What he needs now is a family willing to give him the chance to show them just how wonderful he is.   During Batman's 10-weeks of training, he will work on crate and house-training, leash manners, obedience and agility. He is available for adoption and go home with his adopter at his graduation which will be held on August 12, 2026.
