Joanne is one of 13 beagles from Ridglan Farms starting anew. At around 2 years old, she has experienced a tough life spent mostly in cages. She needs special care and a patient owner to help her overcome her fears. Sounds, smells, and experiences are overwhelming for her, but with time and support, she can begin to embrace them. Because of her background, Joanne is a flight risk; losing her would make recovery difficult. We are looking for adopters who can provide a secure environment with a fenced yard. She would do best with older children, specifically those over 10 years old, and a confident dog companion to help guide her. It’s vital to have an experienced owner who will take the time to help her adjust. Expect some potty accidents as she learns, and be prepared for her to take time to warm up to human affection.
