About Lucy
Meet Lucy, a delightful 5-6 month old puppy weighing 21 lbs. While we aren't certain of her exact breed, this mixed pup boasts a charming combination of American Staffordshire Terrier and Hound. Lucy embodies calmness and gentleness; she’s a true heart-stealer. Currently living with a loving foster family that includes children aged 6 to 12, she thrives in that environment and loves the attention she gets. Despite her puppy status, Lucy exhibits a more laid-back attitude, ranking her energy level around a 3/10. With her unique heart-shaped nose, she enjoys car rides, treats, and follows her canine foster sister around the yard. Though she may initially be shy around new people, her loving personality emerges once she feels secure. Her future family should embrace patience, offering her the time necessary to build confidence through positive socialization and training. Lucy is already house trained and crate trained, sleeping soundly through the night. She’ll need guidance as she adjusts, particularly with leash skills and the typical puppy lessons. Soft, sweet, and bursting with potential, Lucy is ready for a family that’s willing to help her blossom. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
