About Star
Meet Star! This 4-year-old Catahoula/Hound mix has a heart as big as her vibrant personality. Despite having been through more than most dogs should—she survived a gunshot that affected her jaw and ear—Star remains a symbol of resilience and sweetness. After surgery, she sports a unique look with her tongue hanging out, but that doesn't stop her from spreading joy. Star is incredibly affectionate, with a happy nature. She loves to run and play, but also knows how to settle down for a good snuggle. She enjoys car rides and would be the ideal adventure buddy for someone looking for a loyal companion. With her impressive smarts, she already knows commands like sit and navigates the doggie door with ease. Star has been spayed and fully vaccinated, and she's ready to find a family that will cherish her for the amazing, one-of-a-kind dog she is. If you’re searching for a pet with a beautiful soul and an even more beautiful spirit, look no further than Star. Your new best friend is just one click away.
