Stew is around 1-2 years old and weighs 42 lbs. He has such a sweet soul and is truly a good boy. Found at a rural shelter, Stew came in as a stray with huge ticks in both ears and was favoring his back leg. X-rays revealed multiple fractures in his hind leg, a shattered patella, and a bullet lodged in his bone. It's hard to believe someone could have harmed this gentle soul. Our rescue tagged Stew right after assessment, but his injuries were severe enough to necessitate an amputation. He handled the surgery like a champ and has successfully completed his rehabilitation. Now, Stew is looking to leave his rough past behind and find a loving forever home. He gets along well with other dogs and loves people, showcasing his kind and gentle spirit.
