About Shakira

Meet Shakira! This delightful dog, thought to be a Labrador mix, is full of life and energy. At about a year old as of March 2026, Shakira boasts beautiful black fur with intriguing brown brindling and a striking white patch on her chest. Weighing in at approximately 57 pounds in June 2026, she's not expected to grow much more. Rescued from a logging area, Shakira has adapted well and shows off her playful and affectionate nature while also enjoying a degree of independence. Currently, Shakira is working on her house training with the help of her foster family. She’s not aggressive with food and would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where she can run and play freely. Shakira walks beautifully on a leash, sits by your feet when you stop, and enjoys interacting with both dogs and cats, though she prefers to keep some space from them. This loving girl is ready to find her forever home where she can give and receive affection. For more details or to adopt Shakira, please reach out to Lindsay Modesto at lindzerm@charter.net. The adoption donation is $300, which includes her vetting, microchip, spay, and heartworm preventative. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
