About Nova Scotia

Meet Nova Scotia! This adorable pup came to us as an owner surrender. She was initially found as a stray at around two months old, but her owners had to let her go due to landlord restrictions. Nova is currently about 4 months old and weighs 23 lbs. While she's still learning the ropes of being fully house trained, she is used to being crated when her owner is away. Nova has played well with other dogs and cats, even though she hasn’t lived with them. She has experience with adults, seniors, and kids, making her a well-rounded companion. Her playful side shines through in her love for crinkle toys, but be cautious as she has a tendency to munch on shoes and paper. If you're interested in bringing Nova into your home, come meet her in person at our shelter! No appointment is required, but we do prioritize visitors who have met her before accepting applications.
