He’s learning quickly from his foster sister, Gidget, picking up commands like sit, stay, and shake with ease. Potty training is going well; he expertly uses the dog door and isn't shy about voicing his displeasure if it’s shut when he needs to go out. Benson loves to play fetch, although returning the ball is still a work in progress. He thrives on companionship, whether it's playing with Gidget, keeping an eye on the backyard, or taking unusual naps in quirky spots. Rather than using his soft puppy bed, he often chooses to squeeze himself between the couch and ottoman like a tiny furry pillow. Affectionate and cuddly, Benson finds joy in snuggling up for a nap with his favorite people. He does have a special need due to Megaesophagus (MegaE), a condition that requires him to eat and drink while upright. Luckily, he comes with his own Bailey Chair, which he treats like his royal dining throne.
