About Romeo
Romeo is a 65-pound, four-year-old American Bulldog who embodies loyalty and strength. This handsome guy sports a striking coat of white and tan, and he's on the lookout for a one-week temporary foster, followed by a permanent home. He thrives on attention and prefers to soak up all the love as the sole pet in your household. Romeo adores his walks but equally enjoys lounging on a comfy dog bed at your feet while you work or spending cozy evenings binge-watching shows. He's playful and eager for a game of tug-of-war or a round of fetch with his favorite tennis ball. In the car, Romeo sits well in the back seat but does have a tendency to want to cuddle in your lap given the chance. He’s wonderfully relaxed during baths and loves a good rubdown. Neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations including rabies, distemper, and more, he also comes fully housebroken and can be crated if needed. While he can jump excitedly, he's still working on his training. Romeo would be best suited for a stronger owner and would thrive with dog-loving children over 10 years old. His adoption fee has been waived by a generous supporter, and he comes with all the essentials needed for his care. To meet Romeo and possibly make him part of your family, don't hesitate to fill out an adoption application today. He’s currently being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.
