Ambros is a young male domestic short hair cat, about a year old, located in Muskegon, MI. He is a medium-sized feline and has been neutered and vaccinated. He will need time and patience to adjust to a new home as he is still building trust after his time in the shelter.

About Ambros

Ambros and his brother Alroy were discovered in a remote area, likely abandoned with little hope for rescue. Luckily, fate intervened, bringing them safely to the shelter. Currently, these two are inseparable, keeping to themselves as they adjust to new surroundings. Given their past experiences, it’s understandable that they prefer the comfort of their hiding spots for now. Both have received necessary medical care, including flea treatments, shots, neutering, and microchipping. As they gradually gain trust, gentle interactions have become possible. While it's uncertain how they will react to dogs, cats, or children, their fear suggests caution—older children who can respect their space may be best. Ambros and Alroy are handsome black and brown tigers in good health, but they will require time and patience from their future family to thrive. They are still getting used to this new environment and need careful introductions to adapt fully. As they progress, they may become more independent. This young boy is ready for a nurturing home that understands his needs. If you’re interested in adopting Ambros, please drop by the shelter during our hours, or get in touch to find out more!
