About Pepper
Meet Pepper! This adorable puppy is around three months old and appears to be a Chihuahua mix. He and his brother Salt were rescued from a property in Tonopah that has been under our care for years. Pepper started off quite shy and under-socialized, but he's making incredible progress as we work to help him come out of his shell. While Pepper can be a bit timid with new people, he has begun to approach us for a gentle lick on the hand. He might zoom away if you get too close, but once cornered, heโs open to being picked up and petted. A secure environment is ideal for this little guy, so a fenced yard is necessary to keep him safe, as he tends to be a flight risk. Pepper enjoys playing and gets really excited when he's around other dogs, making it crucial for him to go to a home with a canine companion. His playful spirit shines through with his adorable little bunny hops during play. While he doesn't need to be adopted with Salt, these two make a delightful duo if you're interested! Adopting a puppy like Pepper means committing to nurturing him as he grows. If you're ready to take on the challenge, weโre here to help you every step of the way. What are you waiting for?
