About Hera

Meet Hera! This charming 7-week-old Pit Bull mix puppy weighs about 8 pounds and is ready for preadoption. She arrived at the Rockwall Adoption Center at a mere 5 days old after her mother rejected her and her sister. Thankfully, Hera was nurtured in a loving foster home, where she gained the essential care to thrive into the joyful puppy she is today. Hera is eager to explore the world around her and learn what it means to be a cherished family companion. Her new family should have the time, patience, and dedication to continue her training and socialization as she grows. During her time in foster care, she has met other dogs and cats, learning valuable boundaries and manners with both animals and people. This sweet girl is just beginning her life journey and seeks a family ready to guide her through all life's adventures. Adoption fee will include her spay, microchip, rabies vaccination, first round of puppy boosters, and deworming. Hera must return to the Rockwall Adoption Center at roughly 3 months old for her spay surgery and rabies vaccination on 7/15/26 – this appointment is a mandatory part of her adoption contract. If you’re thinking about making Hera yours, please submit an adoption application. Acts of love and responsibility start here, so let’s get started with Hera!
