About Guthrie Couch Buddy
Guthrie Couch Buddy is the sweetest little guy you'll ever meet. He's laid back, and while he comes to life during mealtimes or on squirrel patrol, he's mostly content to lounge around. His journey started when he arrived at a local pound in rough shape, having been badly matted. It took anesthesia to get him shaved down, revealing the adorable pup that he is now. Guthrie struggled with being in a cage at first, but with some patience, he has started to adapt. He might thrive with a canine sibling to keep him company while his humans are away. Occasionally, he wears a belly band when left unattended, which helps manage any marking behaviors he developed before coming into our care. Despite this, he's a good boy with a smart mind; food motivates him, making training a breeze. If you’re on the couch watching TV, Guthrie will gladly join you as your cuddle buddy. He’s gentle, good-natured, and loves the challenge of keeping squirrels at bay. Give him the loving home he deserves; he promises to protect your territory from both foreign and domestic squirrels!
