About Toffee

Toffee is an 8-month-old, 40 lb mixed breed with soft eyes and an exceptionally sweet soul. She enjoys playing hard with her dog friends and then curling up for some cozy cuddle time. This affectionate girl is dog and cat friendly, house and crate trained, and she thrives in a stable home environment with routine. Although Toffee is generally happy, new environments can make her feel a bit timid. Building her confidence is crucial, and she needs a patient and understanding family to support her through this process. Toffee's ideal home needs to include a confident, well-adjusted adult dog to guide her. It's best if her new family is experienced with dogs and can provide the patience and encouragement she needs. Homes with very young children aren't a good match for Toffee yet, as she's still unsure around them. She’s also working on her car confidence, which is currently her biggest fear, but with positive experiences and time, she is progressing well. Toffee doesn't need perfection, just someone willing to cheer her on and show her how wonderful life can be. Toffee is currently fostered in Evans, GA, but is available for adoption across much of the U.S. due to our in-house transport program. Adoption fee includes transport costs.
