About Kota
Meet Kota! If you’ve ever wanted a fluffy little shadow to follow you around, Kota might just be your ideal companion. This charming Toy Australian Shepherd is not only handsome but also incredibly loyal and cuddly. Weighing in at a mere 10 pounds, he's perfect for lap snuggles, and our volunteers can’t get enough of him already! Kota spent most of his life on a farm and loved exploring the outdoors. However, after his owner faced significant life changes and moved into an apartment, it became clear that Kota needed a different environment to thrive. With a heavy heart, his family decided to find a home where he would be happier. Described as friendly and loving, Kota enjoys being with people. He’s in good health, has no known medical issues, and has never shown aggression. Although he’s technically a senior, he still has plenty of love, personality, and companionship to give. Kota would do best in a home where he won’t be left alone for long periods. He adores human companionship and would fit well into a family that works from home or a retired couple looking for a devoted sidekick. A fenced yard or regular outdoor activities would make him even happier. If you’re searching for a loyal friend with a fluffy coat and a sweet heart, Kota is ready to meet you.
