About Equinox

Meet Equinox! This curious boy loves scritches and is ready to find a loving home. He, along with eleven other cats, was abandoned inside a U-Haul in a neighboring community. When we discovered them, they were living in dire conditions—dehydrated, underweight, and frightened. The truck was covered in urine and feces, making their rescue urgent. Just a week earlier, we had taken in 23 other cats and kittens from the same situation. Our shelter is currently stretched beyond capacity, but we couldn't turn our backs on these animals. It's vital they find safe homes before the temperatures rise further. Equinox is three years old and is looking for a fresh start. While we're still getting to know him, we're eager for you to meet him in person at the shelter in Hobart, IN. Stop by and say hello to Equinox or any of the other pets waiting for their forever homes. Every animal deserves a second chance, and Equinox can be part of your family!
