About Piper

Piper is a resilient dog whose journey has been anything but easy. After spending six months in a shelter, she was surrendered when her previous household dynamics became too much for her. Once part of a family, Piper was sadly rehomed without notice. It wasn't until she was found abandoned on a hiking trail that she was brought to the Coachella Valley Shelter, where a supportive network ensured she received the attention she deserved. Despite it all, Piper has retained her joyful spirit. As a Shiba Inu/Shar Pei mix, she's not your typical dog but offers a unique charm. Piper is around 4 years old and weighs approximately 40 lbs. She's known for being non-destructive and adorably quiet, making her ideal for families who appreciate a calm presence. While she can be a couch potato, she also enjoys adventures. Due to her experiences, Piper would do best as the only dog in the home. She's kid-friendly, loves to snuggle, and walks beautifully on a leash.
