About Luna
Meet Luna, a remarkable five-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier with a heart of gold. Weighing in at around 50 pounds, she has a vibrant personality that shines through in every interaction. Luna came to us in February 2025 and quickly revealed her affection for humans over other dogs. She's the type of companion who thrives on human connection, offering gentle and soulful love to those she cares about. Her favorite pastime is proudly carrying around her stuffed toys, showcasing her playful side while taking loving care of them. Having completed a board-and-train program, Luna is fully house-trained and crate-trained. She enjoys structure and routine, and car rides are a special highlight—especially when she gets to feel the breeze on her face as she sticks her nose out the window. Luna is ideally suited for a calm, consistent home where she can enjoy being the only pet and the center of attention. She would flourish best with a single woman or a loving couple who understand her need for a close bond, as she prefers a quieter environment. Unfortunately, she does not get along with children, dogs, or cats, as she values a small and safe universe built on trust. While Luna can be selective when meeting new people, her loyalty is immense once she feels a connection. To truly understand her, it's essential to take the time to build that relationship at her pace. If you're searching for a loving companion who is fierce in her devotion and full of personality, Luna might be the perfect match for you. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
