About Bart
Meet Bart. Bart is a 3-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix with an enormous affection for people and a playful, eager-to-please nature. Abandoned as a stray, he came to us with a microchip that traced back to an Illinois shelter where he was adopted previously. Though we couldn't reconnect him with his original family, Bart is on the quest for a new forever home that can provide him the love, guidance, and fresh start he truly deserves. What stands out about Bart is his love for companionship. He thrives outdoors, enjoys playing, and is happiest when surrounded by his favorite humans. He’s motivated to learn and to make his people happy. Bart needs to be the sole dog in the household, as he has difficulty interacting with other dogs. Our dedicated behavior team is helping him manage his feelings and develop better emotional responses. Bart may not be the fit for every home, but for the right person, he has vast potential. He’s a people-loving, affectionate boy, ready for someone to believe in him and provide the opportunity he seeks. If you're searching for a loyal companion, Bart will surely impress you with his playful spirit and loving nature. His adoption fee includes all necessary vaccinations, his neuter, microchip, and health tests. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
