Rooster is a charming 7-year-old male Domestic Short Hair residing at Hunter's Kitten Lounge in Tucson, AZ. This friendly guy was rescued after being found wandering the streets of Orange County, California. He eagerly jumped into his rescuer's arms, and since then, he’s fully embraced the cozy indoor life. Rooster enjoys human companionship, playtime with toys, and especially snuggling up at bedtime. He's the perfect lap cat and is known to hog the bed while providing expert cuddles throughout the night. Affectionate and sociable, Rooster gets along wonderfully with children and is respectful of the personal space of other cats, making him a great candidate for homes with existing pets. He's also open to befriending dogs with proper introductions. Although he tested positive for FIV, Rooster remains overall healthy and can happily coexist with other cats that are not aggressive. Rooster is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, microchipped, and house trained.
