Yumi is a 1-year-and-5-month-old female Domestic Short Hair, medium-sized cat with a short coat. She sports a beautiful black and white tuxedo pattern and enjoys being house trained. Yumi has her vaccinations up to date and is looking for a calm, adult-only home in Conroe, TX.

About Yumi

Meet Yumi, a charming tuxedo cat with a personality that's both independent and affectionate. She came to Roams To Homes Animal Rescue after experiencing a tough time as a stray, surviving an attack from another animal. Now, Yumi is healing nicely, both physically and emotionally, but she's still learning to trust again. With a calm environment and a patient owner, she continues to open up at her own pace. Yumi enjoys her space and prefers to observe her surroundings rather than being overly demanding for attention. Food definitely brings her out of her shell; she's quite the vocal foodie, especially when mealtime rolls around. You'll know when she's ready to eat! Playtime is where Yumi truly shines. She loves engaging with toys that she can swat at and chase, particularly those that move quickly. Her favorite pastime is lounging in her hammock, happily batting her toys around. Once she feels comfortable, Yumi is affectionate and enjoys soft cuddle sessions, sharing her sweet side with trusted humans. Due to her past, Yumi would do best in a quiet, adult-only home as the only pet. She does not get along with other cats, dogs, or young children, making a calm and predictable environment essential for her well-being. For someone willing to give her a little time, Yumi offers the rewarding experience of building a bond and witnessing her resilience. Ready to offer her the love and patience she deserves?
