About Matilda

Meet Matilda, a young 1-year-old Domestic Short Hair cat looking for a loving home. She came to us with a litter of kittens and proved to be a devoted mom, nurturing her babies beautifully. In her foster home, Matilda has shown her sweetness, forming a trusting bond and enjoying quiet companionship. However, since arriving at the shelter, she has felt overwhelmed by the new environment and prefers to take her time adjusting. She isn't unfriendly; she just needs a bit of patience. With a calm space and gentle handling, Matilda's true personality will emerge. She would thrive in a home that understands her need to decompress and would allow her to build trust at her own pace. If you have a kind heart and some extra patience, Matilda has the potential to become a deeply loving and loyal companion. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
