About Boots
Meet Boots, or as her friends call her, Booty Boots, Wobble, and Miracle Girl. Some cats just need a place to call home, while others like Boots have an extraordinary story to tell. Boots arrived in foster care as a fragile six-month-old kitten, barely weighing over 2 pounds. For weeks, she needed round-the-clock care, being syringe-fed to survive. Walking was a challenge, and even climbing into the litter box often resulted in tumbles. Her condition raised concerns, leading to a diagnosis of FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis), a disease once deemed fatal but now treatable. With a dedicated treatment plan spanning 84 days, Boots fought hard, and today she’s a completely transformed cat. She runs, plays, and explores like any typical kitten. Though she has a slight sway in her walk, it only adds to her unique charm and doesn't hinder her abilities or joy. Boots is incredibly affectionate and loves everyone she meets—humans, cats, and especially dogs. Sometimes, it seems she thinks she’s part dog, always eager to join in and soak up love. Given her remarkable journey, Boots seeks a special family who will truly appreciate her tenacity for life. She requires no special medical care and doesn’t think of herself as having special needs; she simply deserves a family ready to love her as fiercely as she has fought to be here. Though she may remain petite with her perpetual kitten face, her heart is immense. Boots is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on her vaccinations, and has even graduated from her FIP treatment with flying colors. This survivor is more than just a rescue cat; she’s a miracle waiting to find a forever home. Are you ready to welcome her into your life? Click apply to start the adoption process.
