About Liesel

Liesel is a stunning foxhound with expressive eyes and a playful nature. At 1-2 years old and about 45 pounds, she's great with kids, cats, and dogs alike. Known for her intelligence, she can sit, lay down, stay, and eagerly awaits her meals with impeccable manners. This spirited girl has an independent streak, needing a home that offers plenty of outdoor exercise. A fenced yard would be nice, but what she really loves are long walks in nature, where she delights in meeting new dogs and people, splashing in streams, and searching for deer. Dog parks are her playground, and she frolics with joy while exploring every inch. Though she walks fairly well on a leash, she can easily be distracted by the scent or sight of wildlife. Liesel enjoys car rides and cherishes the time spent with her humans. After adventures, she loves curling up on the couch for some chin and tummy rubs. If you're in search of an energetic companion and a running buddy, Liesel is the perfect match. Rescued from a shelter in North Carolina, Liesel's tail was removed due to past injuries, but it has only enhanced her charming personality. She is currently in a wonderful foster home in Maryland.
